Stanley's Camp Review Summary:

Stanley's Camp has a very attractive communal area and lovely "tent" (although canvas, the rooms have all the luxury you could ask for) rooms. The game is quite good (but don't believe their claims of a "resident" pride of lions in the area) and although I am sure the guiding can be too, we were very disappointed with our guide. The food was mostly good, but Lou was repeatedly served chicken as her "vegetarian" option, and was not always even offered an alternative when she was allergic (as they knew well in advance) to the food being served! Unacceptable in a high-end lodge. It is one of only two lodges (at time of writing) that we have felt we had to complain about.
